Diamond Public School hosted Kohinoor- 25th Silver Jubilee celebration at Palki Palace, Kharar. The Palace was beautifully decorated, radiating a festive ambience. Colourful lights and vibrant decorations, transform the palace into a lively celebration zone.

The chief guest S. Gurmander Singh, PCS (Sub Divisional Magistrate, Kharar) graced the occasion. As well as S. Prithi Singh, (Regional Project Director of Mahatma Gandhi State Institution of Public Administration of Punjab, RC, Jalandhar), was presided over the function as guest of honour.

The chief guest delivered a heartfelt address, praising the students for their dedication, hard work and exceptional achievements. They commended the students for their unwavering commitment to academic excellence and recognised their impressive growth throughout the year. And highlighted how school effectively balance academics with extracurricular activities, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to excel in multiple fields.

The guest of honour spoke highly of Diamond Public School’s excellence. They emphasized how the school has become a beacon of academic brilliance, nurturing not only intellectual growth, but also fostering creativity, leadership and character in its students. They also highlighted the remarkable creativity and talent showcased in various performances, they inspired the students to continue pursuing their dreams and aiming for even higher goals, reinforcing the brighter future that lies ahead for each of them.

The culture event of Diamond Public School began with a beautiful and soulful “Shabad” which set a calm and spiritual tone for the morning. This was followed by a lively “Welcome song” performed with enthusiasm by the students. Plays and dramas showcased the students’ acting skills and creativity. Play on “Protecting environment” conveyed a great message to the audience. Play “Canada Meethi Jail” was filled with humour, emotion, and valuable messages. Day continued with stunning dance performances where students displayed a wide range of traditional and contemporary dance forms. The highlights were the Bhangra and Giddha, which showcased the rich cultural heritage of Punjab. Five state dance and Dandiya offered a glimpse into the diverse cultural tradition of India through colourful attire, music, and dance. The rhymes and dance performances of little kids drew big applause, after that principal, Mrs Kawaljeet Kaur addressed the audience by elaborating achievements and activities of the school. They also highlighted the importance of events, which was helping students to develop confidence, communication skills, and appreciation for art and culture. After this cultural celebration, The chief guest and guest of honour along with principal, Mrs Kawaljeet Kaur, director S. Amarjeet Singh and chairperson S. Prabhjot Singh were invited to the stage to distribute the awards to the students.
