TEEJ CELEBRATION by Diamond Public School: -
Diamond Public School, Mundi Kharar, celebrated the festival of TEEJ today
with a lively and meaningful event. The schools hall was filled with the
energetic rhythms of traditional dance Gidda, Folk songs, Tape -bolian, and
Malvai gidha, showing off the students talents and enthusiasm. The campus
was decorated with items related to Teej and Punjabi culture Students came
dressed in traditional Punjabi dresses. Students were looking at charming in
Punjabi attire with Heena on their hands.
On this event Principal Kawaljeet Kaur reminded students the values
associated with this cultural event.
She talked about the festivals deep cultural and ethical roots. Ms Ishwinder
Kaur, vice chairperson encouraged students to adopt these values in their own
lives and emphasized import
Director Amarjit Singh said that
these event not only united the school community but also reinforced the
importance of preserving and cherishing cultural traditions and thanked all' the
staff members and students for participating in Teej celebrations.
